Meditation has so many benefits. Meditation allows us to empower ourselves in moments when we need strength to speak up and empowers us to know when it is time to sit back and accept things as they are. Meditation teaches us to befriend our challenging emotions and work with them in a way that cultivates a sense of self worth and growth from challenging times. Meditation encourages us to be honest with ourself about the world we experience, internal and external, possitive and negative. Meditation teaches us to respond and not react in difficult situations.
